Other Squilometres in the City

The Squilometre technique for the creative celebration of neighbourhoods was developed by the Creative Placemaking specialists - Interwoven Productions CIC. It started in early 2015 in Heavitree, Exeter and, since then, has run many community-led projects including one Exeter City Council commission on Fore Street, Heavitree winning an Outstanding RHS Britain in Bloom Neighbourhood award.

Our communities decide what they'd like to see ....
street flags, roving performances, heritage plaques, community star-gazing events, an interpretation board, heritage surveys and trail-guides, inter-generational tea-parties, lantern parades, reminiscence events and street planting .
